We offer non-invasive, non-surgical treatments such as Candela Vbeam Pulsed Dye Laser treatment for patients who are not interested in or are not candidates for surgical keloid removal.

In addition, this treatment works wonders for wrinkles, sunspots, and Rosacea that occur as a result of aging, weight loss, and other medical conditions like Psoriasis. We understand how noticeable, poorly healed scars and other imperfections of the skin can have an affect on your self confidence. That’s why we offer non-invasive treatment plans to minimize the appearance of scars and other imperfections of the skin, and one of our favorites is the innovative Candela Vbeam Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL).

Candela Vbeam Pulsed Dye Laser treatment works wonders for:

  • Keloids
  • Red facial scars
  • Thick scars on the body
  • Rosacea
  • Skin redness
  • Vascular birthmarks
  • Warts
  • Spider veins (telangiectasia)
  • Other unwanted birthmarks and discolorations

How Does Candela Vbeam Pulsed Dye Laser Treatment Remove Wrinkles, Rosacea, Keloids, and other Skin Marks?

The pulsed dye laser delivers an intense, but gentle burst of light into selectively targeted areas of the affected skin. No anesthesia is required, but may be used if requested. Most patients report a warming or tingling sensation during treatment. Candela’s laser also offers an innovative cooling method, which lubricates the skin before the laser emits its pulse to minimize discomfort.

PDL is typically performed in a series of 3-5 treatments on a monthly basis. However, the number of sessions and the duration of your treatment will be based on your individual needs and aesthetic goals. We recommend that our Rosacea and flushing or broken vessel patients get retreated every 6-12 months to maintain their results. You may resume your normal daily activities, including makeup and your regular skincare routine.

Possible side effects include:

  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Bruising
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • A temporary burning sensation
  • Blistering (please see your provider immediately if a blister develops, as blisters can leave scars)

Patients should apply a moisturizer 2-3 times a day, keeping the area moist until fully healed. Do not rub, scratch, or pick at the treated area while the bruising/red discoloration is present. Patients should also avoid swimming or contact sports while the bruising/red discoloration is present and avoid rubbing or applying pressure (such as by clothing) on the treatment areas.

I found these guys on YouTube. I’ve been dealing with Keloids since I was 17. I hate it. I can’t find words to express the professionalism of Dr. Jones and his entire staff. I’ll recommend them to anyone.
